Why don't I see DAs near me?

Tap the GPS button on the map. The first time, you'll be prompted for location permission; if you decline, the "near me" filter won't work but you can still search by address. macOS desktop GPS is unreliable (Apple bug) — works correctly on iOS and Android devices.

What's in REI Pro?

REI Pro is a one-time A$14.99 upgrade — no subscription. It unlocks:

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Sign into the new device with the same Apple ID. Open REI → Settings → Restore Purchases. Apple's IAP system will re-issue your entitlement.

Does Family Sharing work?

Yes. The IAP product is configured with Family Sharing enabled, so once you've purchased, members of your Apple Family can install REI and tap Restore Purchases to inherit Pro entitlement.

Why is the data different from the council website?

REI uses the NSW Planning Portal API, which is the council-aggregated source feeding the same data back to councils. There's typically a 0–24 hour lag between a council's website and the Portal. For active applications, double-check the council site for the latest status.

Is this council-affiliated or official?

No. REI is an independent third-party app that consumes the public NSW Planning Portal API. We have no affiliation with NSW Government or any individual council.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstall the app — that removes everything stored on your device. There is no server-side account to delete.

If you've made an in-app purchase, Apple retains the receipt under their own retention policy; that's outside our control.
